This simple pan-fried steak is topped with a fried egg. Serve with home fries and green peas.


Brown butter or margarine in skillet. Cook steaks quickly in browned butter, turning to brown both sides, to desired degree of doneness. Top each steak with a fried egg. Season to taste. Serve with home-fried potatoes and tiny green peas, well seasoned. Makes 4 generous servings.
