Catholic Recipe: Matzah

Also Called: Matzoh, Unleavened Bread

This recipe for unleavened bread can be used for a meal on Holy Thursday as a reminder of the Last Supper. You can use an ordinary biscuit dough recipe and delete the baking soda and baking powder or use the following recipe.

DIRECTIONS

Mix ingredients, then divide into three equal balls of dough. Shape each into a very thin circle 6 to 8 inches in diameter.

Place on a greased cookie sheet and prick the dough with a fork. Bake in a preheated oven at 500° F. for 5-6 minutes or until brown.
