Try making this delicious lasagna for a Sunday dinner. It can be served with garlic bread and a salad. You can prepare it the night before and then pop it in the oven to cook on Sunday (it actually is tastier when the flavor can soak in). It is especially easy because you do not have to cook the lasagna noodles separately. Use a large lasagna pan — at least 9 x 13.

DIRECTIONS

Brown onion and meat. Drain. Add salt, garlic, Prego, tomato sauce, herbs, wine and water. In a baking pan put a thin layer of sauce, then a layer of noodles. Mix eggs and cottage cheese. Put 1/2 of the cottage cheese mix on top of the noodles. Then 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese. Add a layer of sauce, then another layer of noodles. Make a layer of the rest of the cottage cheese, topped by a layer of the rest of the mozzarella cheese. Cover with the last of the sauce. Parmesan cheese may be added to the top. Bake for 45 minutes at 350. Let set for 15 minutes before serving.
