Catholic Recipe: Pain Doré (Golden Toast)
DIRECTIONS
Beat egg. Add salt, sugar, vanilla, milk. Soak bread in egg mixture. Fry both sides in melted butter in skillet. Sprinkle with salt. Serve piping hot. Yield, 2 servings
