1. Virgin blessed, Thou star the fairest,
Brighter none in heaven shining,
Never could my tongue be telling,
O Maria thy beauty rarest.

2. Virgin blessed, enthroned for ever,
Daughter of the Lord and Mother,
To my erring ways bring comfort,
Let Thy mercy forget me never.
