Few Catholics today have heard of the Shepherd of Hermas, but in the early Church this apocalyptic text was quite well-known and some Church Fathers even considered it to be a part of Scripture. On Catholic Culture Audiobooks, we'll be releasing this book in four parts, starting with part one: Visions. It's timely for Lent because the Shepherd is all about repentance. But one of its great charms is that its protagonist, Hermas, is just an average man, a father and businessman, with average sins - but he is called to sanctify himself and his family.
