Catholic World News - April 14, 2011
Pope Benedict XVI met on April 14 with President Valdis Zatlers of Latvia.
The "cordial discussions" focused on bilateral relations between the Holy See and Latvia, the Vatican announced after the meeting. The Latvian leader expressed appreciation for the contributions that the Church has made and continues to make to the welfare of that country's people.
