Abortion debates heat up in many American states

Catholic World News - April 11, 2011

USA Today notes that political battles over efforts to restrict abortion are particularly heated in many American states this year. Pro-life activists are advancing several different sorts of measures to protect unborn children and their mothers, and believe that their prospects for success are much more promising this year. Abortion advocates seem to agree, based on the urgency of their appeals.
