Tasmanian government ready to advance legal euthanasia

Government leaders in Australian’s island state of Tasmania have announced plans to legalize “death with dignity,” allowing for the opening of euthanasia clinics.
Tasmanian premier Lara Giddings said that she would work with allies in the Green Party to lay the groundwork for acceptance of physician-assisted suicide.
