A Christmas reminder: don't 'miss the child in Christ'
CWN - December 23, 2010
Borrowing a line from Chesterton, Anthony Esolen writes that while working to “keep Christ in Christmas,” we should also remember to “keep Christmas in Christ”—to be mindful that the Savior is a newborn baby. The mystery of the Incarnation is reinforced by the realization that the Almighty came to us as a defenseless little child. As Frank Sheed put it, the Lord was “true God and true baby.”
