Hungarian premier, Pope discuss EU leadership

Pope Benedict XVI met on December 6 with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
Their conversation, the Vatican reported, centered on “the Christian tradition in the life of the nation.” The discussion also included the decisions facing leaders of the European Union. Hungary will soon take its turn holding the revolving presidency of the EU.
