Catholic World News - October 14, 2010
Four police officers are among the suspects in the robbery and murder of a Catholic near Moscow.
According to Russian media reports, Akhmed Merizov was carrying $1,400 on Church-related business when the four police officers stopped him for a document check. The four reportedly told a friend about the money Merizov was transporting; the friend allegedly robbed, beat, and murdered Merizov, and then split the money with the police officers.
