Journalist who interviewed Pope promises surprises in new book
CWN - October 08, 2010
A Reuters correspondent finds it frustrating to speak with Peter Seewald, the German journalist whose lengthy interview with Pope Benedict XVI forms the basis for the forthcoming book, Light of the World. Seewald promises that the book will surprise readers and shed new light on questions such as the sex-abuse scandal, but he offers no specifics. (Of course, Seewald is understandably trying to generate interest in his book.)
