Photos: Pope visits Cardinal Newman's rooms, Birmingham Oratory

After the beatification of Cardinal John Henry Newman, Pope Benedict made a private visit to the Birmingham Oratory and the rooms where Newman once lived. Although there was no major media coverage of that visit, L’Osservatore Romano has provided photos.

    The Holy Father was deeply touched by visiting Newman's rooms and the pictures really show his reaction. How I wish I would had been there even as a fly on the wall!
