Apostolic Library set to reopen after renovation

The Vatican Apostolic Library will reopen next week after a 3-year renovation project.
At a September 13 press conference-- chaired by Cardinal Raffaele Farina, the Vatican librarian and archivist-- the renovation experts explained their efforts to stabilize the structure, strengthening vulnerable sections of the building and bringing it into conformity with modern safety codes.
