CWN - September 10, 2010
The Vatican is offering free admission to the Vatican Museums and the catacombs in Rome on September 26, in an observance of European Heritage Days.
Responding to an initiative by the Council of Europe, the Vatican will join 50 other countries in offering special cultural opportunities on September 26. The date will also mark the opening of a photographic exhibition on the history of the San Callisto Catacombs, which will remain open for a month.
