California Catholic chaplain removed after sermon backing same-sex marriage

Catholics on the campus of California State University's Fresno campus have shown mixed reactions after Fresno's Bishop John Steinbock removed Father Geoffrey Farrow from his post as campus minister, following the priest's homily opposing a referendum effort to end state recognition of same-sex marriage. Father Farrow, who acknowledged that he is homosexual, said that he felt morally obligated to oppose the Church position.
