Two noted Italian Vatican-watchers have released a new book-- for now, unfortunately, available only in Italian-- on the public-relations failures that have marred the current pontificate. Commenting on the book, America's own top Vatican-watcher, John Allen, makes a few of his own useful suggestions on how the Vatican could improve its public image without compromising its message.
