Greek government probing financial dealings of Orthodox Church

Serious questions about real-estate sales and tax benefits are adding tension to the complicated relationship between the Greek Orthodox Church and the country’s civil government. Law-enforcement officials are investigating the sale of Church-owned properties and the allocation of tax benefits.
