Follow Mary on the 'narrow road,' Pope urged Angelus audience

At his Angelus audience on Sunday, August 22, Pope Benedict XVI said that the Church needs the help of Mary, Queen of Peace, to build a civilization of love.

The Pope told the crowd gathered in the courtyard of his summer residence at Castel Gandolfo that the day’s liturgy referred back to the feast of the Assumption a week earlier. When Jesus urged his followers to enter through the narrow door, the Pope observed, “Mary is the first that passed through the road.”

    Don't get me wrong, I love the Holy Ftaher but I don't like the term "civilization of love". What ever happened to the Social Reign of Christ the King?
