Spanish soccer team dedicates World Cup victory to Our Lady of Guadalupe

The president of the Spanish Royal Federation of Soccer has offered the World Cup trophy to Our Lady of Guadalupe, in a visit to the shrine in Mexico. Angel Maria Villar, who made the trip along with other Spanish soccer officials, said that he was fulfilling a vow he made before the World Cup tournament.

    Does that mean that Our Lady of Guadalupe becomes eligible to sponsor a team for 2014 in Brazil?
