CWN - July 22, 2010
The July 22 edition of L’Osservatore Romano paid tribute to Cécile Guérard, whose 2006 work on the sea (Philosophie légère de la mer) is now available in Italian. Pierluigi Natalia, the author of the Vatican newspaper article, notes that Guérard brings together reflections on the sea from authors as diverse as Plato, Kant, Nietzsche, Sartre, and Hemingway.
