Coming papal document to call for 'new liturgical movement'?

John Allen of the National Catholic Reporter writes that Pope Benedict XVI will soon release a motu proprio on marriage law. The document itself would ordinarily not warrant much public attention, Allen notes—except that in the text the Pope calls for the formation of a “new liturgical movement” to revive the strength of traditional Catholic worship. That passage of the document seems to point toward the Pope’s enduring interest in a “reform of the reform.”

    I am looking forward to reading more about the Holy father's thoughts and guidance. Each person is responsible for his/her own respect and reverence for the Mass and especially the Eucharist.
