CWN Editor's Note: On July 20th, the 56th anniversary of the first manned landing on the moon, Pope Leo XIV called Buzz Aldrin, one of the astronauts who first stepped on the moon’s surface.
On the same day, the Pope—who is staying at the summer papal residence on Castel Gandolfo, visited the astronomical observatory there.
