Vatican newspaper pays tribute to Dietrich von Hildebrand
CWN - May 28, 2010
As the Dietrich von Hildebrand Legacy Project holds a conference in Rome devoted to “The Christian Personalism of Dietrich von Hildebrand: Exploring His Philosophy of Love,” L’Osservatore Romano on May 28 paid tribute to the great twentieth-century Catholic philosopher by publishing a brief interview with his widow, Dr. Alice von Hildebrand. Her late husband, she recounts, grew up in an atmosphere of beauty that helped prepare the way for his conversion, and his “joy in faith” influenced countless “students, colleagues, friends.”
