Indiana priest accused of abuse
CWN - April 20, 2010
A priest of the Diocese of Gary, Indiana, has been placed on leave because of an alleged incident of abuse that took place in 1991. Police are unable to open an investigation because the person accusing Father Terrence Chase has chosen to remain anonymous.
Ordained in 1984, Father Chase, who maintains he is innocent, served as the diocese’s vocation director from 1986 to 1990.
