Victims allege Vatican connection in 2 North American abuse cases

Pressing their claims against the Catholic Church, two reported victims of sexual abuse by priests-- one in Canada, one in the US-- have claimed that Vatican officials were aware of the priests' misconduct. In each case, the accused priest had direct connections with the Vatican, although the reported abuse occurred while each priest was working in North American under the jurisdiction of a resident archbishop.
