Lawsuit forces online dating site to promote gay partnerships

Eharmony, a popular online dating service, has settled a lawsuit by agreeing to accept gay and lesbian users seeking same-sex partners. Eharmony reached an agreement with the activists who had filed a lawsuit claiming that the site was in violation of California law, which prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation.
