Responding to law against homosexuality, US turns against Ugandan regime

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced plans to monitor upcoming elections in Uganda, and invite observers from the European Union to do the same. The diplomatic initiative appears to be an American response to Uganda’s new law criminalizing homosexuality.
