Caritas: Millions at risk of starvation in Ethiopia

Caritas Internationalis, the international consortium of Catholic relief agencies, has issued an appeal on behalf of 6.2 million Ethiopians who need emergency food and water aid following a drought that led to massive crop failure. Responding to similar appeals by other relief organizations, an Ethiopian government minister recently told BBC that βin the Ethiopian context, there is no hunger, no famine.β
