Irish archbishop accused of sexual assault

An Irish missionary archbishop has been accused of assaulting a 14-year-old girl before beginning a 20-year relationship with her. Archbishop Richard Burke, who was appointed Archbishop of Benin City, Nigeria, in 2007, has withdrawn from active ministry while the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith investigates the allegation.
