Legendary Vatican Latinist recovering in US

Father Reginald Foster-- the Vatican Latinist whose dedication to the Latin language and his students have made him a legend among Latin lovers-- is recovering in the United States following a broken thighbone, an infection, and heart surgery. Father Foster, who has been replaced at his Vatican office by another American priest, Father Michael Gallagher, hopes to return to Rome upon his recovery.
