Seminary’s strict regimen hearkens back to 1950s

The Associated Press has profiled the strict regimen at the Redemptoris Mater seminary located in the Archdiocese of Denver. While Redemptoris Mater seminaries are operated by the Neocatechumenal Way movement, the seminarians will eventually serve in the diocese in which the seminary is located. Other Redemptoris Mater seminaries in the United States are located in Boston, Dallas, Newark, and Washington.

Early in Pope Benedict's papacy, the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments issued a document ordering the movement to change its liturgical practices.
