Indian cardinal hopes for new emphasis on tolerance after religious bloodshed

A year after the anti-Christian violence that shook India's state of Orissa, Cardinal Oswald Gracias of Mumbai sees the as "one of the saddest moments in the history of India." But the prelate hopes that the bloodshed will spur new efforts to restore India's tradition of tolerance and multi-cultural cooperation.
