A Vatican 'crackdown' on reported Marian apparitions?
September 12, 2008
The London Times, in a characteristically inaccurate story, touts a Vatican "crackdown" on reports of Marian apparitions. The reality: At a recent conference held at Lourdes, theologians discussed how proper doctrine can be used as a means of discerning whether reported apparitions are authentic.
