Vietnamese officials cite diocese for ‘illegal’ Mass

CWN Editor's Note: Local officials in the Nghe An province of Vietnam have informed officials of the Vinh diocese that a January 23 Mass was illegal, because Church officials had not obtained the required authorization for a religious ceremony. At that Mass, priests asked for prayers for Vietnam’s prisoners of conscience.
