CWN Editor's Note: Pope Francis appointed the parish priest of the “Igloo Church” in northern Canada as a bishop and accepted the resignation of a Connecticut auxiliary bishop at the age of 72. The Archdiocese of Hartford said in a statement on its Facebook page that Auxiliary Bishop Christie Macaluso “will remain active in episcopal ministry to the extent that his health and circumstances permit.”
