1,000 priests threatened by Mexican drug gangs

The Mexican bishops’ conference has stated that 1,000 of the nation’s priests face “constant threats” from drug gangs, according to a Reuters report. Last month, a priest and two seminarians were slain by drug gangs near Acapulco.
