Vigil continues at Chinese parish church slated for demolition

August 30, 2017

Catholics in Changzhi, China, are continuing a vigil outside a church in Wangcun, where local officials have made plans for the demolition of the parish property.

After blocking a bulldozer, parishioners remained on the site through the night, guarding against the possibility that officials would begin the demolition under cover of darkness.
