Homosexual activists march in Rome; small numbers in Poland, Croatia

Carrying signs reading “no Vatican,” homosexual activists demanded same-sex marriage as they marched in Rome on June 13. The Associated Press estimated the crowd in the “tens of thousands.” Smaller crowds of 1,500 and 500 also marched in Warsaw and Zagreb.
