Judge halts demolition of Texas parish

A judge has issued a temporary order halting the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s demolition of a parish damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2006. Parishioners maintain the building-- which is an hour’s drive from the nearest parish-- can be repaired.
