Priest shot, killed in Democratic Republic of Congo

A Catholic priest was killed in Katuba, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, on October 21.
Father Joseph Mulimbi Nguli was shot by masked men who attacked the family home were he was spending a holiday. The killers immediately fled the scene. Police are investigating the crime.
The Catholic bishops of the nation have warned about the deterioration of security and the frequent “attacks on parishes and religious communities.”
