Omaha archdiocese: ‘Transgendered’ 8-year-old boy can’t come to school as a girl

An eight-year-old boy whose mother is actively supporting his desire to become a girl is not being permitted to act like a girl at his Catholic school. “The child is welcomed to come, but it would not be acceptable to change the child’s gender and present as a girl,” said archdiocesan chancellor Father Joseph Taphorn.
