September 12, 2016

The Council of Cardinals is meeting with Pope Francis this week, continuing its review of proposals for the reform of the Roman Curia.

The Council-- the group of nine cardinals appointed by the Pontiff to advise him on Vatican reforms-- is meeting Monday through Wednesday, September 12 to 14 The agenda for the meetings is not public. Pope Francis usually participates in all sessions of the Council’s work, except on Wednesdays when he holds his weekly public audience.
