Vandalism at Bonn basilica

A deranged 24-year-old man entered a Romanesque basilica in Bonn, Germany, and caused extensive damage to the crypt where the relics of Saints Cassius and Florentius, the city’s patrons, are venerated.

The man pushed over a sarcophagus and damaged other areas of the crypt before he was arrested.
