Venezuelan priest is stabbing victim; motive for crime unknown

The Diocese of San Cristobal, Venezuela, has reported the violent death of a young priest there.

The body of Father Darwin Antonio Zambrano Gamez was found in a park in San Cristobal on Thursday morning, March 31. He apparently died of stabbing wounds. He was 39 years old.

The perpetrator and the reasons for the killing are not yet known. Police are investigating the crime.
