I looked at images of the cathedral on Wikipedia. One photo shows a tabernacle centrally located under a hanging statue of Christ resurrected. I presume this statue to represent a crucifix. Other crucifixes are displayed, as are icons, other statues, and a fresco of biblical scenes. I have two questions. Will Obama during his visit insist that all these references to God be covered? If so, will the Castro government jump with glee that the U.S. has produced such a spirit kindred to its own?
