Argentine drug dealers threaten priests

More than 350 Catholic priests in Argentina have joined in a public statement calling attention to the threats the Church has received from drug traffickers. Urban areas in particular are besieged by dealers, and priests who work with addicts are the targets of death threats from suppliers who hope to continue their addiction. One priest compared drug use to "a tsunami breaking over us."
