IMF director Lagarde meets with Pope

Pope Francis met on January 18 with Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund.

Lagarde, a French attorney who was appointed to head in the IMF in 2011, had also met with the Pontiff in December 2014. No details about the meeting were released by the Vatican.
