Miracle approved, beatification looming for Cardinal Newman?

Vatican theological consultors have voted to confirm the authenticity of a miracle attributed to Cardinal John Henry Newman, the London Daily Telegraph reports. With a final endorsement from the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, the approval of the miracle-- the sudden cure of a Massachusetts man suffering from a severe spinal disorder-- would clear the way for his beatification.
